Official Renders of Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Models Leaked

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch8 series of smartwatches have had their official renders leaked, suggesting the company is planning a significant design change this year. Some users are likely to really appreciate this new look.

A notable development has emerged regarding South Korean tech giant Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch8, Classic, and Ultra. Evan Blass, a well-known source for tech leaks, successfully leaked the official renders of these smartwatches. It appears Samsung will introduce a major design overhaul for its smartwatches this year.

Every July, Samsung hosts its Galaxy Unpacked event, where it unveils its foldable phones alongside its new smartwatches. This year’s models will be the Galaxy Watch8 family. The renders leaked by Evan Blass reveal the designs of these smartwatches.

Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Watch8

For years, Galaxy Watch smartwatches have featured a circular design, but starting in 2025, they’ll adopt a different look. While the round edges of the watches will be maintained, we’ll see an extension in the body. This will make the watches appear more stylish, at least to some users. This same design language is expected to be used for both the Ultra and Classic models.

We can say that Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches won’t experience major changes in terms of technical specifications. Features like AI-powered sleep tracking, which we saw in the Galaxy Watch7 family, will appear in the new smartwatches in a slightly more advanced form. Of course, we don’t know if Samsung has any surprises in store on this front.
